What is Elf Wallet?
No more Cash lost in backpacks! It works just like a gift card! At Natalie's Elf Shelf ® Holiday Store, kids shop without cash thanks to Elf Wallet. Family and friends contribute funds online. Then kids choose their own gift items. It’s convenient, simple, and secure.
How do we let our parents know about Elf Wallet?
The Elf Wallet form will be sent home with every child. The form has directions and information on how to upload funds for their child to shop. The form must be brought back and presented at checkout. If the child does misplace their form. No worries! The volunteers can look it up on the back end of our online cash register to verify.
How do parents/guardians upload funds to their child Elf Wallet/Gift Card Accounts?
It is super EASY and FAST! They will go to www.elfshelfwallet.com and create an account to upload funds! If they have multiple children at the same school or even a different school. They can still use the same account for each child. All they have to do is click "add child" on the parent portal dashboard. It works just like a gift card!
Do you give refunds on Elf Wallet?
Elf Wallets with a remaining balance at the end of the shoppe will be credited back to the school as a 100% donation. If a parent wants a refund for the remaining balance, due to their child being sick and not getting to shop or unhappy with the items purchased. No problem-- Please e-mail support@elfshelfholidaystore.com and we can issue you a refund.
We ask that every child spend all of their money in the store that their family member uploaded for them. (This will be communicated with every school before the store starts as well as printed on every Elf Wallet Form sent home.)
The online cash register will show on the back end which kids have not redeemed all of their Elf Wallets. We ask that the volunteers make sure all of the students at their school have spent all of the funds that their parents/guardians uploaded for them before the store closes.
*Please Remember: We are a seasonal business and only come to the school 1 time a year. The only way Natalie's Elf Shelf® Holiday Store will issue a refund is if a child was sick and did not get to shop or a customer is unhappy with our product. Please e-mail support@elfshelfholidaystore.com to request a refund.
Does the parents get a receipt after they upload funds with Elf Wallet?
Yes! They will get a receipt emailed to them immediately.
Is the Elf Wallet free to the school?
The Elf wallet program is free to the school but there is a small transaction fee to the parents/guardians. We charge a flat processing fee of $1.50 for $0-$25 transactions and 6% processing fee for $25 and up transactions.
Does the Chairperson have Access to the Reports?
Yes, the chairperson can look up all transactions on our online cash register Login information will be e-mailed to the chairperson 1 month prior to the store starting.

Do we have to offer Elf Wallet?
No! Elf Wallet is only a service that we offer to our schools. If your school does not want to participate in our Elf Wallet Program. Please opt out when asked on our 2025 Sign-Up form.
Do you offer WiFi Packs?
Yes, we do offer Verizon WiFi packs. If your school has poor internet service and needs one. Please request for one when you sign up for 2025. There will be a $50 fee added to your invoice at the end of the store for the WiFi Pack. WiFi Packs are shipped with the store and a return shipping label will be provided.
